The new challenges and alternatives to the use of clean energy sources commanded the discussions between professionals and students during the Seminar on Clean Energy: Knowledge, Integration and Sustainability, which occurred on days 4 and 5 April in the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC.

Same view shared by Prof. Baltazar D'Andrade Guerra, director of the project JELARE (Joint European-Latin American Universities Renewable Energies Project). For him, the event was extremely important for the dissemination of knowledge in the area of renewable energy and to submit to a diverse audience macroecomômico evolution of this important sector of energy generation through renewable energy and (complementary) alternatives. "It opened a new moment to discuss and implement these new energy requirements," he says.
